  • Bloom is not a data collection tool. It allows users to select their goals and generates the surveys needed to collect data, which can be exported to data collection tools. Bloom integrates with a growing number of data collection tools or users can export their surveys as an Excel file.

  • Bloom does not provide traceability of a supply chain but can integrate with traceability providers. Bloom can help users prove the impacts of a supply chain on a particular community and conformance with industry compliance requirements. Bloom automatically generates the surveys needed to measure impacts and compliance, but it is up to the user to collect the data. 

  • No data needs to be uploaded to take advantage of the platform’s core features: selecting your compliance and social impact goals which automatically generates your Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, and related surveys. Your survey can be exported to use in your favourite data collection tool and the data collected can be similarly analyzed. To access Bloom’s analysis feature, use one of Bloom’s integrated data collection tools to connect the data collected. This data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS). No one else has access to the data you have collected unless you choose to share it with other members of your team.

  • What makes Bloom unique is its powerful Library, made up of industry sourcing standards and internationally tested Indexes and Common Indictor Frameworks. They are mapped against relevant Sustainable Development Goals and industry commitments, harmonized using Results-Based Management. Bloom has adapted them for data collection at a local level, for the first mile of a supply chain and surrounding communities. In cases where there are no metrics, we’ve developed our own. Users can simply select their goals, generating a custom survey that can be exported to a data collection tool.
