They are mapped against relevant Sustainable Development Goals and industry commitments, harmonized using Results-Based Management. Bloom has adapted them for data collection at a local level. In cases where there are no metrics, we’ve developed our own.

The idea for Bloom came from decades of research and experience implementing projects to support transparent supply chains, especially IMPACT’s efforts working with communities in Democratic Republic of Congo to implement conflict-free and legal artisanal gold supply chains. Bloom is a project of Knowledge for Impact, IMPACT’s social enterprise.
